New Arrested Development episodes to hit Netflix on SundayNew episodes of Arrested Development will be available on Netflix starting this Sunday.

Yeh, Fox may have cancelled the series seven years ago, but fan interest has remained strong. In fact, just two years ago IGN named Arrested Development the funniest show of all time.

Netflix bought the rights to new episodes and began filming last summer.

They now have 15 new episodes in the can. All 15 will be available early Sunday morning.

Anyone up for an all night Arrested Development marathon?

Netflix offers a free one month subscription to new users.  After the first month, the streaming service costs $7.99 per month in the US.

Netflix began producing its own original programing last year. When the new Arrested Development is released, it will be the 5th original series that Netflix has produced.

While the ratings were low when Arrested Development was aired on Fox, fans that did watch it loved the show.

However, Netflix is taking a bit of a risk – rebooted shows don’t always live up to their hype.

Do you think Netflix can do Arrested Development justice – or is this a flop in the making?
