Camaro’s USB port, hidden in the console, is available in the 1LT model and standard on 2LT and 2SS models and connects an iPod to the audio system so that a flash drive loaded with music can be plugged in and played in the car!
Other features offer turn by turn navigation with OnStar and as with many models with OnStar, it is free for 6 months. Two new apps for smartphones are free downloads: MyChevrolet for iPhones helps to locate a dealer, schedule maintenance appointments, get roadside assistance and more. Find My Car app marks parking areas and sets alarms for parking meter times, and more and all with the power of Google Maps.
Another app – OnStar RemoteLink™ offers remote start, control door locks and more from almost anywhere. This app is free for the first 6 months. MyChevrolet with connectivity of OnStar RemoteLink™ mobile app* can be downloaded for free at the iTunes Store and requires Android or iPhone technology and an active Onstar subscription.
The 2011 Camaro starts at about $23,000.00.
