The 2015 Trax is a compact SUV with an efficient turbocharged engine and available all-wheel drive. Its small size allows it to traverse the city easily while using less fuel than a full-size SUV. But, the Trax still has a higher ground clearance enabling it to handle light off-road use.

The Trax excels in terms of storage. The low and wide cargo floor makes it easy to load heavier items. With the rear seats down, it boasts 48.4 cubic feet (1371 litres) of cargo space.
When passengers are using the rear seats, they will be happy with the amount of leg and headroom.
Families will enjoy the Trax’s abundance of useful places to store their everyday items. The Trax has a massive 19 storage compartments including 4 cup-holders in the centre, 2 glove boxes, large door bins, and seatback pockets.
The 2015 Trax comes nicely equipped to accommodate customers’ lifestyles. It is available with GM’s next generation of OnStar with 4G LTE and built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. Also, it comes with MyLink technology running of the segment’s only 7-inch colour touchscreen, and is the first to offer Siri Eyes Free.
Safety features help drivers relax, and the Chevy Trax has more standard air bags than its competitors, along with an available rearview camera and rear park assist.
The Trax is powered by an Ecotec 1.4-litre turbocharged engine that delivers the efficiency of a small engine, yet the acceleration of a larger one. Chevrolet believes its 138 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque will be sufficient to satisfy most customers’ needs.
A unique six-speed automatic is mated to the engine and is tuned with a wide gear ratio spread to optimize the balance between acceleration, fuel efficiency and engine noise.
