2015 Chrysler 200 – The Fresh New “Face” of Chrysler

With the unveiling of the 2015 200, Chrysler has presented the world with their new, elegant design philosophy.

The 2015 Chrysler 200 is all-new, being redesigned from the ground up. It exhibits beautiful craftsmanship using high quality materials and boasts state-of-the-art technology and safety features.

As attractive as the new 200 is, some of the unseen mechanical bits are the most eye-catching.

The 2015 200 will be the industry’s first mid-size sedan to come with a standard nine-speed automatic transmission. This is the main force behind the 200’s expected highway fuel economy rating of 35 miles per gallon.

Chrysler is also offering their innovative all-wheel-drive system as an option on the 200. This sophisticated drivetrain is capable of fully disconnecting the rear axle to reduce parasitic loss and further improve fuel efficiency.

Al Gardner, President and CEO of the Chrysler Brand, was quoted in the press release. “The all-new Chrysler 200 lays the groundwork for the future of the Chrysler brand with a timeless, elegant design; clever functionality; a standard nine-speed automatic transmission; a class-leading all-wheel-drive system; 60 safety and security features and a host of new technology drivers and passengers will value.”

The 2015 200 will have a starting price of $21,700.

Let’s hear your thoughts on Chrysler’s new “face” of the brand. Do you believe it will make an impact in the ultra-competitive mid-size sedan market?
