2016 Billboard Music Awards: Time, Live Stream, Performers, Nominees

The 2016 Billboard Music Awards take place this Sunday night (May 22) and it promises to be an exciting event packed with some great musical acts and lots of celebrity appearances.

This is the 24th annual show, and once again Ludacris will be hosting, with Ciara acting as his co-host.

Featuring a line-up of chart toppers, including Britney Spears who will open the show performing a medley of her hits, this year’s awards will be extra special because for the 1st time ever they will air live simultaneously on both coasts.

For those who don’t want to miss a second of the action, we have everything you need to know on when, where and how to watch.

Time & Channel: The awards, which take place at the T-mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, air live starting at 8 P.M. EST/ 5 P.M. PST on ABC.

Free Live Streaming: Free live streaming is available on your PC through Watch ABC and on your smartphone or tablet through the Watch ABC app for iOS and Android.

Red Carpet: Red Carpet coverage will be available on TV and through streaming courtesy of the E! Channel.

E! Live From The Red Carpet airs on the E! Channel from 6-8 P.M. EST/ 4-6 P.m. PST.

The E! Channel will also stream the red carpet live through eonline or using the E! online app for Android and iOS .

Performers: In addition to Britney Spears opening number, there will be lots of cant-miss performances. Among the highlights are:

-Madonna will pay a special tribute to the late/great Prince.

-Justin Bieber will premiere his new song “Company”.

-Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will perform their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”

-’80s pop group The Go-Go’s will perform to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of their hit “We Got the Beat.”

-The premiere of Adele’s new video: “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)”

Also scheduled to perform: DNCE, Fifth Harmony, Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, Tove Lo, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendes,Pink, Ty Dolla Sign, Troye Sivan and Meghan Trainor.

Céline Dion will receive the evening’s lifetime-achievement ICON Award, and Britney Spears will get Millennium Award.
