Walmart has listed a new tablet on sale this weekend, the Hisense’s Sero 7.
The retailer’s asking price is $99.
The Sero 7 isn’t a high-end model, but has decent features, such as a resolution of 1,024×600, a 1.6 dual-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz, 4 GB internal SD storage and a microSD slot for memory expansion. The software is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
Hisense also has a Pro version available for Sero 7, priced at $149.
Sero 7 Pro comes with a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, a screen resolution of 1,280×800, 8 GB internal SD memory and a microSD slot for memory expansion. The software is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
$99 is a low price for an Android tablet, but Hisense is not popular in US. Nevertheless, Walmart’s partnership with the make may be able to turn things around for Sero 7.
