A Dance With Dragons Is Finally Here: Available In Kindle & Hardback

After a six-year long wait, readers eargerly welcomed A Dance With Dragons in bookstores yesterday. This is George R.R. Martin’s fifth book in the fantasy epic series A Song of Ice and Fire. A total of seven books is expected to complete the series.

A Dance With Dragons is number two on the Amazon Bestseller list today, retailing at a discounted price of $18 for both the Kindle edition and the Hardcover book. With the HBO TV series, Game of Thrones, ending a successful first season, this is a great time for the book’s release. Game of Thrones is based on A Song of Ice and Fire series. The other four books in the series were also on the New York Bestseller list in the last few weeks.

For eager readers wondering what the final ending will be like, Martin assured them in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that “I know the ending in broad strokes. I don’t know every little twist and turn that will get me there, and I don’t know the ending of every secondary character. But the ending and the main characters, yeah.” He also assured them that the Game of Thrones producers know the broad ending as well, in case something happens to him.

Working at his own pace and in his own time, despite the complaints of eager readers over publication delays, Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire is set to be one of the best adult fantasy epic series ever.
