007 makes his return this November in the 23rd James Bond film: “Skyfall“.

The movie looks to be a dark tale for the iconic spy as he takes on a mission that hits close to home.

MI6 faces a threat unlike any other, as M’s past comes to haunt her. It is up to 007 to once again save the day, but will he make out of this one intact?

Daniel Craig returns as James Bond, and Dame Judi Dench reprises her role as M in the new film. Along with the two returning characters is a cast featuring the likes of  Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace and Tonia Sotiropoulou.

James Bond is known for having several very regular things featured in his films, such as high tech cars and beautiful women. Yet there is another element that many have come to expect when seeing 007 in action -and that would be the movies’ theme song.

The theme song for “Skyfall”  is both written and sung by Adele.

The single is currently available at iTunes for $1.29 – and after just being released within the past hour – it is already in 3rd place on their current pop singles chart. *update – 9am ET, Oct 5, now at #1*

Amazon also has the single available for $1.29, but it has not made an appearance on their charts yet.

The original soundtrack for “Skyfall” is available for preordering at Amazon and Best Buy. The CD is $12.99 at both sites. It’s set for a November 6 release date, three days before the movie hits theaters on November 9.

We did not find the soundrack at Walmart.com, Target.com, or any of the other major retailers we checked.
