Holidays aren’t the only time to get a great discounts on meals: National chain restaurants regularly offer deals on the distinctly American concept of ‘all-you-can-eat.’
Following are five of some of the best opportunities for unlimited returns to the salad bar, and none require coupons. Just remember to bring your favorite elastic-waisted pants.
Chili’s
Best deal: Bottomless Express Lunch – choice of soup, salad, and unlimited chips and salsa. (They’re known for their Tex-Mex flair.) $6
Bob Evans
Best deal: Unlimited soup, salad, and bread. 11:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday. $6.99
Olive Garden
Best deal: Unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks. Lunch only. You might want to grab this one while you can; recent reports indicate OG might be easing up on its famous all-you-can-eat breadsticks in favor of a greater emphasis on alcohol. $6.99
Steak ‘N’ Shake
Best deal: All-you-can-eat pancakes. The only catch is you have to start with 3, then refill 2 at a time – admittedly a small sacrifice. Available all morning. $3.99
Old Country Buffet
Best deal: One of the bona fide buffets offered nationally. All 3 grazing times are valid here. Breakfast ($5.99), lunch ($7.99), dinner ($9.99).
