Amazon’s Valentine To Android Users: 37 Free Apps & Games

As it does every so often, the Amazon Appstore for Android is giving away a whole bunch of paid apps for free for a limited time. The bundle includes 37 apps normally selling for a combined $140. They’re available at no cost through Saturday, February 14.

The collection includes a mix of games, utilities, reference materials, and fitness guides.

Some highlights this time around:

Trivia Crack (Ad Free) (normally $2.99): Although offered in a previous giveaway, Trivia Crack has really taken off in the last few months. The version of this social game with ads has been installed more than 50 million times from the Google Play store alone.

Stellarium Mobile Sky Map (normally $2.58): What’s more romantic than pointing out constellations with your date? If movies are to be believed, only grand gestures involving music and public declarations of love. With Stellarium you can go a little more low-key and learn some astronomy too.

Runtastic PRO GPS Running, Walking & Fitness Tracker (normally $4.99): This fitness app gives runners voice feedback, heart rate training & analysis, geotagging of photos, weather forecasts, and data like time, distance, elevation, speed, and calories burned.

Tunable: Tuner, Metronome, and Recorder (normally $1.95): Although built for musicians, this instrument tuner and metronome also functions as a sound recorder – something oddly missing in most Android phones.

Fans of expansive, plot-heavy games might also want to check out steampunk globetrotter 80 Days, surreal narcolepsy puzzler Back to Bed, and magical high fantasy adventure Sorcery! 2.

Are you a fan of any of these apps?
