American Idol’s Alex Lambert Is Homeless: Real or Fraud?

Monday night former American Idol contestant Alex Lambert sent a message on Twitter that both shocked and upset his fans.

Lambert told his followers that he had been homeless and sleeping ‘on the streets and behind buildings’. He told fans that he had to choose between staying to pursue his career or going home and giving up music. “I’m usually a strong person, but I can’t take it anymore,” he tweeted.

However, reps for 19 Entertainment say that Alex Lambert is not homeless and they have no idea where it came from although he did in fact post the Tweet. As a matter of fact, the rep made it clear that Lambert gets money monthly and is working in the studio on music and demos daily.

Alex later tweeted a new message intended to clear up the confusion. He said he had places he could stay but did not want to burden anyone. He did admit he had money. “I just want to let ya’ll know! I’m not some rich spoiled kid,”: he said. “I don’t mind sleepin on the street as long as I get my chance.”
