Amy’s Baking Company Too Much For “Kitchen Nightmares”

Amy’s Baking Company Too Much For “Kitchen Nightmares”

“Kitchen Nightmares” season finale ended on Friday with Chef Gordon Ramsay quitting Amy’s Baking Company.

In 82 episodes of working with failing restaurateurs, Ramsay has never before quit. But he couldn’t take Amy and Samy Bouzaglo’s antics and left quickly.

He said, “You have the right to run the business the way you want to run your business. I have the right to do the right thing. And the right thing for me is to get out of here.”

The Scottsdale, Arizona restaurant opened in 2006, but has suffered slow business.

Amy said, “bloggers and redditors started lying about us,”  in the opening sequence. She and Samy blame everyone else for their troubles and have now taken to Facebook.

Throughout the episode, the owners yell at customers, staff and each other. They take tips from the wait staff, and refuse to accept any criticism, telling customers who complain to leave.

At one point, Amy even calls the police when a customer leaves without paying for drinks.

Redditors are wondering if it’s all a front to launder money for “gangster” Samy.
