Apple Co-Founder Likes Windows Phones

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak feels that apps are more beautiful on Windows phones than either Apple iPhones or Android devices.

In a recent interview with Gina Smith and Dan Patterson, Wozniak said he was “Kind of shocked. Every screen is much more beautiful [on the Windows phone] than the same apps on Android and iPhone.”

However, Wozniak was not completely satisfied with the Nokia Lumia 900 with Windows 7.5 that he was carrying when interviewed. “I prefer to speak things to my phone,” said Wozniak at one point, “there isn’t a way to do it with voice [with Windows]… I miss that part… as far as eye and visual, the Windows phone is beautiful.”

As for the iPhone, Wozniak said it “has beauty and simplicity, and you don’t get lost as much in it, but it’s more awkward to use, to get in and out of things.” He also said “my main phone is still my iPhone. For a lot of reasons. I use a lot of apps, they are part of my life. Windows doesn’t have that many apps yet.”

Wozniak said he will continue to carry the Windows phone with him everywhere, but that his main phone is still the iPhone = and he carries two of those with him, one on Verizon and one on AT&T. He also carries a Motorola DROID RAZR.
