Assassin’s Creed Unity Release Delayed

Ubisoft announced today that they have to delay the Assassin’s Creed Unity release for two weeks.

The new release date for Assassin’s Creed Unity in the US is November 11 (original date: October 28).

Fortunately, for Assassin’s Creed fans, the release date for Assassin’s Creed Rogue remains unchanged and will release alongside Creed on November 11.

Senior Producer, Vincent Pontbriand, said in the press release, “As we got close to the finish, we realized we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is exceptional. We sincerely appreciate players’ commitment to the game and their patience. It’s just a couple more weeks. And it’s going to be worth it.”

While fans may be upset by the delay, let’s hope Mr. Pontbriand is truthful when he says it’s going to be worth it. We’ll see soon enough.
