AT&T Takes A Swing At T-Mobile With New Print Ad

AT&T has released a new print ad targeting the rival carrier T-Mobile.

The ad has hit several major publications, including the Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.

First spotted by TmoNews, the ad is a response to T-Mobile U.S CEO John Leger’s comments 2 months ago when he called AT&T’s network ‘crap’ at the CES keynote.

This is the excerpt of the ad:

“The truth about T-Mobile’s network compared to AT&T. 2x more dropped calls. 2x more failed calls. 50% slower download speeds. Don’t be fooled by their misleading claims. For the better network experience, count on AT&T.”

Mark Siegel, representing AT&T as a spokesman, said the ad simply serves as a reminder for carrier users. The ad states that third-party testing proves that AT&T has lower dropped calls and faster speeds than T-Mobile.

AT&T plans to keep, and attract, new customers, while T-Mobile is going to introduce service changes and also start offering iPhones for the first time.

Let’s see how this heats up in the upcoming days. Which network do you prefer? Leave your comments below!
