Audi Announces Massive Recall For Defective Airbags

Audi of America is recalling 170,000 vehicles in the U.S.

This recall effects all Audi vehicles between the model  years 2005 – 2014.

The reason is the never ending scandal with Takata airbags.

Takata believes the front driver side front airbags it supplied could be defective.

This recall was issued on the advice of the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

If you own an Audi from the models years affected it would be wise to contact your dealer soon to arrange an inspection.
