Batman and Superman – together on the big screen!
Plans are in the works for the Dark Knight and the Man Of Steel to be together in a movie for the first time ever.
Warner Brothers announced that Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas will be executive producers of the movie. It will be directed by Zack Snyder and written by David Goyer.
Expected release date – 2015.
So far, the cast members include Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams. We don’t know who will play Batman in the following movie.
Snyder appeared at Comic-Con and declared:
“I’m so excited to begin working again with Henry Cavill in the world we created, and I can’t wait to expand the DC Universe in this next chapter. Let’s face it, it’s beyond mythological to have Superman and our new Batman facing off, since they are the greatest Super Heroes in the world.”
The superhero duo has been featured together in comic books. Taking Batman and Superman to the next step, a movie, is a natural move, although nobody expected to see it happen so soon after the release of Man Of Steel.
