BCS Bowls – When, Where, And What Channel

The BCS Bowls picture is being narrowed down pretty quickly now. College football teams and fans are lighting up forums all over the internet with speculation on whose in and whose out.

Pundits are making predictions, but we’ve still got a week to go. If you are looking final confirmation on the BCS Bowl bids, you will need to wait until next Sunday, Dec 5th. Conference commissioners and bowl representatives will make the final decisions after next Saturday’s conference championships and the final games are played.

Tickets for many of the BCS Bowl games are already on sale. The games are scheduled as follows:

The Vizio Rose Bowl is in Pasadena, on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 5 pm (ET). It will be broadcast on ESPN.

The Tostitos Fiesta Bowl will also be on New Years Day, 2011, 8:30 pm (ET). It will be shown on ESPN.

The Discover Orange Bowl is on Monday, January 3rd, in Miami, at 8:30 pm (ET), on ESPN.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl will be played on Tuesday, January 4th, at 8:30 pm (ET), in New Orleans on ESPN.

2011 Tostitos National Championship Game will pit the BCS number 1 and number 2 teams against each other on Monday, January 1oth, 2011, at 8:30pm (ET).  If there are no upsets, and we have had plenty of them this season, it’s generally expected to be a matchup between Auburn and Oregon.
