After years of anticipation by Bethesda’s loyal fanbase, the video game company finally announced Fallout 4 this morning. The game was revealed via a countdown clock that ran out this morning at 7 AM Pacific Time.
The game appears to be set in Boston, Massachusetts. Several famous Boston landmarks and locations even appear in the trailer.
The Massachusetts State House, Paul Revere statue, Bunker Hill Monument and more all make an appearance.
Iconic Fallout locations appear as well, including the return of the Vaults. The main protagonist even seems to be a resident of Vault 111; seeing as he wears a Vault 111 jumpsuit in the trailer.
Famous companion, Dogmeat, also shows up. Most of the trailer actually focuses on his journey to find the protagonist and join him.
Classic enemies such as the Deathclaw, raiders and more are in there as well.
The trailer uses entirely in-game footage, showcasing actual gameplay and people as they’ll appear in the game.
With the announcement out of the way, Bethesda is expected to reveal more about Fallout 4 at its E3 press conference in a few weeks.
Fallout 4 will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
