Blended, The Calling & Belle – Now At Redbox

This week’s Redbox releases include Blended, The Calling, Belle, The Rover, The Signal and Wer.

Blended is the 2014 comedy that reunites Adam Sandler with his 50 First Dates co-star Drew Barrymore.

After an unsuccessful blind date, a man and a woman end up having to spend even more time with one another after they each unknowingly sign up to go on the same vacation.

Kevin Nealon, Terry Crews and Wendi McLendon-Covey co-star in Blended.

The Calling is the 2014 crime thriller based on the 2008 Michael Redhill novel of the same name.

In the film, a detective races against time to find the religious serial killer responsible for a series of violent murders.

The Calling stars Susan Sarandon, Donald Sutherland, Ellen Burstyn, Gil Bellows and Topher Grace.

Belle is the 2013 British drama that tells the story of Dido Elizabeth Belle, the mixed race daughter of a Royal Navy Admiral who was raised by her aristocratic great-uncle Lord Mansfield and his wife in 18th century England.

The film is said to be inspired by the 1779 painting of Dido Elizabeth Belle.

Belle stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Tom Wilkinson, Sam Reid, Sarah Gadon and Miranda Richardson.

Next up this week is the modern western tale The Rover, starring Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson.

Ten years after a global economic collapse, a loner seeks revenge on a group of thieves after his car is stolen.

Scoot McNairy, David Field and Anthony Hayes co-star in The Rover.

In the sci-fi thriller The Signal, a group of friends get more than they bargain for after stimulating the interest of a genius computer hacker while on a road trip.

The Signal stars Laurence Fishburne, Brenton Thwaites, Olivia Cooke, Beau Knapp and Lin Shaye.

And finally this week is the horror flick Wer, starring A.J. Cook, Brian O’Connor, Simon Quarterman, Sebastian Roché,and Vik Sahay.

In the film, a defense attorney believes that her client, who is charged with murdering an entire family, might actually be a werewolf.

Additional Redbox releases this week include Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return, Monsters Vs. Aliens: Creature Features, Postman Pat: The Movie and Roger Corman’s Operation Rogue.
