Both the Denver Broncos/New England Patriots and the San Francisco 49ers/Seattle Seahawks playoff games will be available streaming live online this afternoon through legitimate providers.
What do I mean by legitimate providers?
The only way to get a legitimate feed is from the source.
Each time a big sporting event takes place, we see tons of articles hit the search engines with links to malware laden software. Rather than getting a “free live stream” of the game, consumers end up chasing download links and running around in circles trying to get to the stream – exposing their computers to malware and viruses in the process.
But today’s games will be streaming live from the broadcasters themselves: CBS and FOX.
The Denver Broncos/New England Patriots playoff game kicks off at 3 PM Eastern time. This game will be broadcast on TV on CBS and will be streaming live through CBS Sports.
There’s a bit of a catch though. Access to CBS Sports online is limited to subscribers of Xfinity, DirecTV, Dish, Optimum, Verizon Fios, Cox, Charter, SuddenLink, MediaCom, and WOW.
The San Francisco 49ers/Seattle Seahawks playoff game will be broadcast on TV on FOX. The game will be available streaming online on Fox Sports. Kickoff is at 6:30 PM Eastern time.
Like CBS Sports, Fox Sports is only available to subscribers of certain TV services: U-verse, Xfinity, Optimum, SuddenLink, Midcontinent and WOW.
