The release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is almost here and to mark the occasion both GameStop and Best Buy are having midnight launches on Monday, November 3.
GameStop will have copies for both those who pre-ordered as well as a limited supply for walk-ins.
Those who pre-ordered will automatically get the Day Zero Edition; those who did not may also get it depending on what is in stock.
Best Buy will only have copies for those who pre-ordered.
Here is where the midnight openings will take place and what kind of trade-in deals you can get:
GameStop is having a full launch event and will stay open starting at 6 P.M. (EST) on Sunday November 2 until it’s midnight opening starts at 12:01 A.M. (EST) on Monday, November 3rd.
Customers can come in early to play the game live in-stores and compete for prizes, but you cannot purchase Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare until after midnight.
The game will retail for $49.99.
Chris, a salesman at the Avenue of the Americas location, told Consumer Press that customers who did not pre-order should call ahead after 9 P.M. (EST) to see how many copies will be available to the general public.
Most of their locations here in the tri-state area will be participating, including 1282 Broadway, NYC (212-967-9070), 682 Avenue of the Americas, NYC (212-675-2580) and 32 East 14 th street, NYC(22-242-2567).

In addition to the launch events gamers can get the following discounts:
-Limited Edition Xbox One COD: Advanced Warfare Console on sale for $449 on Monday, November 3.
-From now until November 9 you can trade in your PlayStation 3 devices of 20 GB or higher or your Xbox 360 consoles of 240 GB or higher to get a $125 store credit towards the purchase of a PlayStation 4.
Best Buy will open it’s doors at 12:01 A.M. (EST) on Monday, November 3, with availability for those who pre-ordered ONLY.
Many of the tri-state area stores will be open, including: 8923 Bay Parkway, Brooklyn (718-265-6950), 625 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn (718-230-7480) and 622 Broadway, NYC (212- 673-4067).
