Within hours of main star Charlie Sheen’s rant on a syndicated radio show, CBS announced it was halting production of Two and a Half Men.

CBS issued a statement Thursday evening that stated they would be stopping production of the hit show for the remainder of the season. They cited Sheen’s remarks, conduct and condition as the reason behind the decision.

This announcement came on the heels of Sheen ranting on The Alex Jones Show where he all but dared the network to cancel the show. He said he was threatened with cancellation and wanted to see if they were telling the truth. During the rant he asked if the network was content with the $5 billion they had made off of him or if they wished to make more.

His comments insinuated that the show would not survive without him as he said “Watch your ratings”. He also said he would go on to make movies with superstars and not work with idiots.
