There are some outstanding deals on cell phones today. The launch of the Windows 7 Phone is ramping up competition in the smart phone field. Launched yesterday, consumer reviews are coming in strong and positive. Shortages are already being reported.
WireFly is offering the HTC HD7 for free with the purchase of a T-Mobile plan, that’s $150 off the regular price. They also have the HTC Surround, that comes with a free AT&T Entertainment Pack for $150 with purchase of an AT&T plan. WireFly is also offering free activation on T-Mobile phones, a savings of up to $175 on a family plan. They have the T-Mobile myTouch 4G at $170 off the normal in-store price, and the T-Mobile G2 is available at $150 off, with purchase of a T-Mobile plan. WireFly is also launching a new service for its customers, free backups of address books and other important information on your phone.
Now let’s jump over to LetsTalk. During November they are having a buy one, get one free sale, on many of their smart phones. They also have Windows 7 phones on sale. The LG Quantum and the HTC Surround are on sale for $99 with purchase of an AT&T plan, a savings of $80 over the regular in-store price.
Both LetsTalk and WireFly have the Droid Incredible free with purchase of a Verizon plan. Both also have the Blackberry Torch available for $30 with purchase of an AT&T plan.
With the competition ramping up between Android, Apple, Windows, and Blackberry phones, consumers can save money by doing a bit of research before they buy. Generally speaking, prices on phones from these two major online cell phone distributors, are lower than the prices found in brick-and-mortar stores, especially with the newer, high end, phones.
