Classic Characters On Sale Every Week in Nintendo’s Eshop

For the past few weeks, unbeknownst to many gamers, Nintendo of America has been putting up some their many classic characters for sale in their eShop.

With Link (from “The Legend of Zelda”) and Mega Man already having “left the park”, it is now time for Mario, the most loved and well known of their roster, to step up to the plate.

However, before you head off to your Wii U, and wipe off the several layers of dust that have built up over the drought, you should know that there are absolutely no new titles available for purchase in Nintendo’s online store.

No, not even Super Mario 3D World!

With that said, for those of you who are still with me, Nintendo has put together a list of some truly memorable and classic titles that will surely have the more nostalgically inclined Nintendo fans (approximately 80% of them) soiling their pants in glee.

This week’s sale includes eight classic Nintendo titles that are available for both the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS (and by extension the 2DS).

After this week of sales; which ends on the 5th of December, there will only be one more week of colorful Nintendo merriment before the official start of the Christmas season.

Last, and definitely least, the final Nintendo character that will be going up for sale, starting at 9:00 am on the 5th of December, will be Donkey Kong, the lovable red ape who will forever live in the shadows of his mushroom eating, princess saving companion.
