An official Amazon press release issued on May 28th announced the launch of a new Amazon section aimed at businesses that sell collectible US coins. Interested customers can now buy coins directly from dealers like David Lawrence Rare Coins, Liberty Coin, Kagin’s and Stack’s Bowers Galleries.
The new store will be called Collectible Coins and is already available HERE. The marketplace now gives shoppers access to over 10,000 unique coins sold by over 75 dealers. Coins are authenticated and professionally graded.
According to Amazon Marketplace director, Steve Johnson:
Collectors of rare coins are passionate about the hobby because coins represent the intersection of history, collectibility and wealth. Coins have been one of the most searched for items in our collectibles store. The introduction of the Collectibles Coins store was inspired by customer demand.
Those looking to buy rare and collectible coins can now look at the Amazon Catalog.
