Creed, Concussion & Legend – Now At Redbox

This week’s Redbox releases include Creed, Concussion, Legend, The Danish Girl, The Hateful Eight, Exposed, and Macbeth.

Creed is the 2015 sports drama serving as a spin-off and sequel to the Rocky film series.

In the flick, former heavyweight champion Rocky Balboa becomes a mentor to the son of his former rival, Apollo Creed.

Creed stars Sylvester Stallone, Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, and Tony Bellew.

Concussion is the 2015 sports drama based on the 2009 story Game Brain by GQ correspondent Jeanne Marie Laskas.

The film tells the story of Dr. Bennet Omalu, the pathologist who uncovered the truth behind brain damage in football players who experienced repeated concussions.

Concussion stars Will Smith, Alec Baldwin, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Arliss Howard, and Paul Reiser.

Next up is Legend, the 2015 crime thriller adapted from the novel The Profession of Violence: The Rise and Fall of the Kray Twins by John Pearson.

In the flick, twin siblings Reggie and Ronnie Kray become two of the most notorious criminals in British history with an organized crime empire during the 1960s.

Legend stars Tom Hardy, Emily Browning, David Thewlis, Christopher Eccleston, and Chazz Palminteri.

The Danish Girl is the 2015 romantic drama based on the 2000 novel of the same name by David Ebershoff.

The film, loosely inspired by Danish painters Lili Elbe and Gerda Wegener, follows Lili’s transition from a man to a woman.

The Danish Girl stars Eddie Redmayne, Alicia Vikander, Ben Whishaw, Sebastian Koch, and Amber Heard.

The Hateful Eight is the 2015 western mystery about a bounty hunter and his prisoner who seek shelter from a blizzard in a cabin currently inhabited by a group of strangers.

Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, and Demián Bichir star in The Hateful Eight.

Next is Exposed, the 2016 thriller about a police detective who investigates the truth behind his partner’s death.

Keanu Reeves, Mira Sorvino, Ana de Armas, Christopher McDonald, and Big Daddy Kane star in Exposed.

Lastly this week is Macbeth, the 2015 adaptation of the popular Shakespeare tragedy.

Macbeth stars Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Elizabeth Debicki, Jack Reynor, and Paddy Considine.

Additional releases this week include Cartel Land, LEGO DC Super Heroes: Justice League: Cosmic Clash, Saved By Grace, Weaponized, and Youth.
