Cyber Monday had been extended to Cyber Week, with many sites trying to leverage Black Friday’s and Cyber Monday’s sales excitement into a full week of promotions. Shoppers who avoided the rush, wanted to think over their purchases before pressing the ‘buy’ button, or simply ran out of time to get all their shopping done, can still get in on the deals.
One example is cell phone discount site WireFly. Their sale is continuing with all their AT&T cell phones being on sale. They also offer free activations on T-Mobile plans, and free Droid Incredibles on their Verizon plans.
Other web stores are continuing their Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Cyber Week sales are Amazon Toys R Us, Walmart, Cabelas, Barnes and Noble, Discovery Store, Kmart, Sears, The Home Depot, QVC, Avon, Overstock.com, Kohls, HSN, Apple, Nike Store, Dell, Sports Authority, Vista Print, Land’s End, Walgreens, Macy’s, Oriental Trading, 1-800-Flowers, JC Penny, Express, Sony, Best Buy, Staples, Drugstore.com.
Some sites will have rotating sales throughout Cyber Week, with different products on sale on different days and times.
National Retail Federation trade group estimated on Sunday that 212 million shoppers visited stores and websites over Black Friday weekend, an increase of 195 million over last year’s numbers.
