Country star Billy Ray Cyrus is blaming the Disney show “Hannah Montana” for destroying his family, including his divorce, and sending his daughter Miley Cyrus in a downward spiral that is out of control.
Miley has been “Acting out rebelliously” according to her father. Miley Cyrus is quoted as saying she is devastated that her father, Billy Ray and mother, Tish, are blaming her career a the cause of their divorce.
In a recent interview with GW magazine, Billy Ray Cyrus said he would “erase it all in a second” if it would restore his family to its former self. Billy Ray says his daughter Miley is on the wrong path, heading into the Hollywood path of drugs. Billy Ray believes she is a little girl searching for herself in all the wrong places.
Billy Ray refused to attend Miley’s 18th birthday because “it was wrong” to have an 18 year-old’s party in a bar. After the party, video of Miley Cyrus smoking out of a bong surfaced to her and her father’s embarrassment. Billy Ray has accused his wife, Tish, of allowing Miley to become a spoiled brat, not unlike the path Lindsay Lohan decided to take.
Billy Ray Cyrus has also compared his daughter’s current path with several that ended tragically, including Kurt Cobain, Anna Nicole Smith, and Michael Jackson.
