Good news for our nation’s servicemen and women: Disney Parks is now offering special military discount pricing on both park admission and accommodations to Walt Disney World and Disneyland for active duty U.S. military personnel.
Both active and retired U.S. military personnel (including active and retired members of the U.S. National Guard, Reservists, and Coast Guard) can discover the magic of Disney Parks at a 50% savings compared to regular Disney theme park ticket prices.
Andy Hornstein, Authorized Disney Vacation Planner for Mouse Tales Travel, praises Disney Parks’ decision to renew their military discount promotion, adding: “This special pricing is typically the best offer available and is a nice way to thank our military for their service. Most families don’t realize this offer exists so it’s always nice to hear how happy they are when I inform about how much money this can save them.”
At Walt Disney World, the 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets with Park Hopper Option and 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets with Water Park Fun and More Option are both priced at $177 each, plus tax; these same passes are priced regularly at $354 each, plus tax. Military shoppers can upgrade to 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets with Park Hopper and Water Park Fun and More Options for just $30 more per ticket, plus tax.
Servicemen and women can purchase 3-Day Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets to Disneyland for just $132 each, regularly priced at $265 each. A maximum of six tickets may be purchased at the special military discount rate for both parks.
The new military discount promotion begins August 25, 2014 and lasts through September 30, 2015 at Walt Disney World Resort and October 1, 2015 at Disneyland Resort. Park passes purchased and accommodations booked during this promotional period may be used September 28, 2014 through October 3, 2015 for both parks and resorts.
There are blackout date restrictions to consider when planning your Disney vacation. Military discount tickets cannot be used December 22, 2014 through January 2, 2015 at Walt Disney World, December 25, 2014 through January 4, 2015 at Disneyland, or March 29 through April 9, 2015 at both parks.
Military shoppers can enjoy accommodations at reduced savings at select Disney Park Resorts during this military discount promotion. Interested travelers should call Walt Disney World Resorts at 407-939-7830 or Disneyland Resorts at 714-520-7088 to check specific pricing and availability.
