DNA Indicates Vegas Showgirl’s Body Found – Boyfriend Arrested

In Las Vegas,  a dancer, Deborah Flores-Narvaez,  was reported missing when she failed to show at a rehearsal of “Fantasy”, a burlesque show that appeared at the Luxor hotel and casino. Fox news reports she was last seen by her boyfriend, Jason Griffith, 32, on December 12th. Following a “tip”, investigators found her body in downtown Las Vegas.

No other information was released except a comment from Police Lt. Lew Roberts who said  the investigation was “fairly complicated” and the information that  Griffith had been arrested on suspicion of murder. Roberts also said there might be other suspects involved. When questioned, he indicated that Griffith had been cooperative when questioned early on.

Deborah Flores-Narvaez, 31, had been dating Griffith for about a year. There was a domestic violence visit to her address on October 22nd. She advised police who responded to the call that Griffith stole her Iphone, pushed her down, kicked her and pulled her hair. She was pregnant with his child at the time. Griffith admitted there was an argument, but denied hitting her.

Her sister, Celeste Flores-Narvaez of Atlanta, had been desperately looking for Deborah during Christmas and New Years, and continues to hops the investigators are wrong. DNA evidence indicates the body is that of her sister, but the medical report regarding definite identification will not be available until Monday. Whether she was pregnant at the time of her death has not been released.
