Doctor Who Season 8 Premiere Hits Theaters This Weekend

Doctor Who fans will have the rare opportunity to watch the Peter Capaldi Doctor Who debut on the big screen this weekend.

The Doctor Who season 8 premiere is scheduled to broadcast at 8PM Eastern on BBC and BBC America this Saturday, but Whovians willing to wait a couple of hours can watch the season 8 premiere titled ‘Deep Breath’ at select midnight movie theater screenings Saturday night.

Fans who are willing to wait just a few days can find an expanded offering of Doctor Who premiere screenings at 7PM and 9:30PM local time Monday, August 25th on over 600 screens across the country.

Doctor Who fans who attend a Fathom Events screening will not only get to see the one-hour long Doctor Who premiere episode, they’ll also get an exclusive prequel scene as well as an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at the making of ‘Deep Breath.’

Peter Capaldi is the twelfth actor to play the titular character of Doctor Who, the longest running science fiction television show in the world.
