Scrubs star Donald Faison makes his way back to TV as the host of TBS’s new hidden camera comedy, Who Gets the Last Laugh?.
Who Gets the Last Laugh? pits three comedians against each other to “pull the most outrageous practical jokes” in what TBS calls “the ultimate hidden camera comedy sketch challenge.”
Each episode, three comedians must come up with the most insane and hilarious sketches, then “unleash them on the unsuspecting public.” A live audience then votes on which comedian had the best sketch, and the winning comedian gets $10,000 to go towards the charity of their choice.
Comedians lined up to take the challenge include Newsradio‘s Andy Dick, D.L. Hughley (The Hughleys), Chris Kattan (The Middle), Growing Pains‘ Alan Thicke, and more.
It comes as no surprise that Who Gets the Last Laugh? comes from the same minds that created MTV’s celebrity practical joke series Punk’d, Jason Goldberg and Ashton Kutcher.
Faison is best known for his role on Scrubs where he played Turk, J.D.’s best friend from college and up-and-coming surgeon extraordinaire. On the big screen, Faison starred in sci-fi thriller Skyline, and can be seen this coming summer in Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall.
Who Gets the Last Laugh? airs this spring on TBS. Will you be tuning in for this new comedy competition?
