Dragon Age: Inquisition Confirms Co-Operative Multiplayer

Dragon Age: Inquisition‘ is shaping up to be one of the best games Bioware has ever created, with stunning visuals, character creation reminiscent of ‘Dragon Age: Origins,’ and now a confirmed co’op multiplayer!

While Bioware has recently let fans down with the rushed release of ‘Dragon Age II’ and the flop of an MMORPG ‘Star Wars: The Old Republic;’ the newest installment in the Dragon Age franchise (scheduled for release October 7) is continuing to build hype with a newly announced multiplayer.

The multiplayer aspect of ‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ is commonly being labeled as a sort of “dungeon crawl” where groups of four friends can team up to take on monsters under orders of the Inquisition. Upon completion, players will obtain gold, experience, and other equipment for 1 of 12 available characters (4 for each class).

Bioware has also come forward stating that the single player campaign will not affect the multiplayer experience, nor will the multiplayer game play affect the campaign. This allows players to enjoy both aspects of the game to the fullest without being forced into unwanted encounters.

With the promise of new characters and multiplayer DLC (rumored to be free), ‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ is keeping us teemed with adrenaline for its October 7 release. What are you most looking forward to in the newest Dragon Age installment? Let us know in the comments below.
