In a surprise to many, Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas were cut from Dancing With The Stars before making it to the final two.
Kirsty Ally was the odds on favorite to lose out in the cut from three competitors to the final two. Last night, Kirsty Ally and her pro partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, had the lowest scores when the dance points were tallied. They scored 27 judges points in each of their two dances. Her dancing opponents, Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas, and Hines Ward and Kym Johnson, each scored 29 on one of their two dances, and a perfect 30 on the other. Before the audience votes are figured in, that already left Kirsty Ally in a distant third place, with the top two tied.
Tonight’s dance and audience votes also figured into the score, but all three teams received perfect 10’s from all three judges. That resulted in tonight’s dances having no affect on the overall judges and viewer vote scores from the previous night.
That apparently left Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas as the dance partners with the lowest total score.
