On the Empowerment stage, you will experience speakers that will include Tyra Banks, Tony-winning actress Patina Miller, best-selling author Terry McMillan, ballet star Misty Copeland and life coach Iyanla Vanzant.

De Luca. “Not only will our programming emphasize topics such as love and relationships, personal finance and entrepreneurship, but we will also take a deeper look into our community’s most pressing political concerns to prepare ourselves for the upcoming presidential election.”
The music will also be on point, as this year’s headliners will be Mariah Carey, Kendrick Lamar and Maxwell. If that is not enough, the Essence Festival will also feature Babyface, New Edition, Faith Evans, Lalah Hathaway, Tyreese, Andra Day, Charlie Wilson, and more!
Essence Festival 2016 tickets are on sale now. Single day passes start at $55. 3-day passes, which will allow you to make the most of the weekend, start at $250. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.
