The iOS jailbreak team evad3rs has been busy this week.
After the release of evasi0n jailbreak 1.0, they released a new version in form of evasi0n 1.1, which fixed the weather app and slow rebooting time.
Now they’ve released the third version of the jailbreak utility: evasi0n 1.2.
The latest version brings a fix for a timezone issue, and includes a built in code which prevents over-the-air (OTA) updates in the future (pretty smart, as the evasi0n tool doesn’t support iOS 6.1.1 jailbreak).
Evasi0n 1.2 works with all iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad models running iOS 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2 and 6.1. Three operating systems are supported; Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
iPhone owners who are using iOS 6.0-6.1 and have already jailbroken their iDevice aren’t required to redo the jailbreak.
Have you jailbroken your iPhone with evasi0n? If not, are you going to? Leave your comments below!
