If you are a fashion conscious person, September comes packed with enough action to last you more than just one closet-life. US mega retailer Target is gearing up for the Missoni’s launch set for September 13. The retailer has previously pulled a few clever ones with design lines such as Rodarte, Zac Posen and Mulberry. For this reason, the Missoni’s collection is attracting a lot of attention from fashion fanatics.
The Missoni’s collection entails about 400-pieces and includes menswear, womenswear, and clothes for girls and babies. The collection – which also features dishwear, blankets and even a bike – is brought to us courtesy of the “All The Way Up Here” blog. The blog, at first blush, appears to be a huge pre-launch leak of what the clothing line will look like, is actually a marketing ploy by Target to get attention for the line (and it’s working).
The blog is supposedly run by ‘Marina’, a living, or at least blogging, doll, said to have “joints, hinges and all”. The blog, and selected items from the collection, are available for viewing at allthewayuphere.tumblr.com.
