Production of Fast & Furious 7 has been a complicated process, to say the least, including several different release dates.  Now the movie has another new release date, this time being bumped up to April 3, 2015.

The original release date of Fast & Furious 7 was July 11 of this year, meaning it would have been in theaters in a little over a week.  Of course, that was before the untimely death of star Paul Walker, which caused chaos for the movie’s production.

After that, the release date was pushed back to April 10, 2015 to allow the cast and crew to figure out how to proceed without Walker, ultimately choosing to carry on production using Walker’s brothers as body doubles for his remaining scenes and re-shoots, with the intention of digitally altering the scenes for the final product.

All the extra work caused the budget for Fast & Furious 7 to skyrocket. But now production has started to wrap up, and Universal is confident enough to move up the release date to April 3 of next year.
