Fans who are still reeling from Robin Williams death can take a little bit of comfort knowing there are still 4 films of his to hit theaters.
The trailer for the first of those 4 films, ‘A Merry Friggin Christmas’, has been released and can be seen below.
The film tells the story of Boyd Mitchler (Joel McHale) and his wife Luann (Lauren Graham), who reluctantly decide to spend Christmas with Boyd’s dad Mitch (Robin Williams) and the rest of his wacky family.
When Boyd realizes he left all his son’s gifts at home, he takes his dad and younger brother to they to make the 8-hour round trip before the sun comes up.
Based on the description and trailer fans of Williams should expect to see the iconic comedian at his best, doing what he always did best: making people laugh.
The film, which is set to hit theaters November 7 of this year, also stars Candice Bergen, Tim Heidecker, Oliver Platt, Clarke Duke and Wendy McLendon-Covey.
The 3 other movies that will hit theaters posthumously are ‘Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb’ (December 19), ‘Boulevard’ (no release date as of yet) and ‘Absolutely Anything’ (also no release date).
