For a limited time, Redbox is offering new Redbox Instant™ subscribers a one-month free trial.
Redbox Instant™ by Verizon is a video service that provides you with the ability to stream Redbox movies on your TVs, mobile devices and computers.
For just $8 a month after the free trial period, subscribers can receive access to the thousands of movies currently available in the Redbox streaming library.
With Redbox Instant™, you can stream movies on several devices, including: PC and MAC computers, Android phones and tablets, Apple iPhone’s and iPads, Windows 8 phones, the Kindle Fire, XBOX One and XBOX 360, Playstation 3 and 4, Roku, Internet-enabled Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-ray players, LG Smart TVs and other Google TV devices.
You can have up to two devices streaming the same movie at the same time and up to five download devices at a time listed on the account.
According to Redbox, streaming requires 500 Kbps for SD and 3 Mbps for HD or faster connection.
In addition to unlimited streaming, subscribers will also receive 4 DVD credits every month to use when renting the latest new releases at their local Redbox kiosk.
One DVD credit at the kiosk is good for only one DVD rental night at the kiosk, meaning one credit will be used for each night a movie is held.
Unfortunately, credits cannot currently be used to rent movies on Blu-ray™ disc.
However, once the free trial period ends, subscribers have the option of adding Blu-ray™ credits to their subscription for only $1 more per month.
During the free trial period, new subscribers can also elect to rent or buy on-demand movies starting at about $3.
The one-month Redbox Instant™ by Verizon free trial offer is available only for new subscribers.
If you would like to cancel at any time during the trial period, you may easily do so and you will not be charged.
