Major Nelson, the director of programming for Microsoft’s Xbox Live service, has been dishing out some great deals on Xbox 360 and Xbox One games.
He’s calling the daily promotion “Countdown to 2014 Deals.” The countdown began last Tuesday – the 17th of December.
With each passing day, Mr. Nelson has been offering up some tantalizing, one day only, discounts of up to 70% on a variety of Xbox titles, add-ons and avatar collectibles.
Needless to say, offers of this magnitude have caused quite a stir in the Xbox gaming community, leading many to “camp out” at the official Major Nelson blog in a desperate attempt to catch the day’s special.
Keeping up on Twitter
For those of you who refuse to be interrupted during your season long gaming binge, or simply cannot be bothered to visit the official Major Nelson blog, another great alternative would be to follow @majornelson on twitter (*Gasp*, his real name is Larry Hyrb) where he will be tweeting out the deal of the day.
