With only a few weeks left, now is the time to visit Storyland.
Opened in 1950, this lovely old amusement park is one place that children can discover pathways that lead to storybook characters and wholesome experiences all set within gentle White Mountain scenery.
Autumn is a great time to visit as the crisp fall air settles into the valley.
The old lady in the shoe still greets visitors with a Storyland sticker and the tea cups spin just as they did 50 years ago.
Even though Heidi’s grandfather no longer waits patiently at the top of the hill, Cinderella continues to encourage young children to explore her castle, swan boats await paddling drivers and the pirate ship is ready to explore the wild waters of the New Hampshire waterways.
