Halloween Costume Sales 2016: Target, Walmart and More

Halloween is less than a month away, and while that may seem like a lot of time, its not when it comes to finding the right costume at the right price.

Between early Halloween parties and high demand for certain types of masks and costumes, you could find yourself unable to find what you want, or paying a high price for it of you shop too late.

So if you need a costume, for yourself or your kids, here are the latest sales from major retailers, including Target and Walmart.

We have a rundown of pricing, availability, and links to each store to help you find exactly what you’re looking for.

Target: Now through Saturday, October 8, they are having a BOGO (Buy One, Get One) 50% off sale on Halloween costumes, accessories and more, in stores and online.

Some costumes are also eligible to arrive as early as this Thursday with express shipping.

They tend to have a bigger selection online, especially when it comes to popular costumes, so check before heading over.

Here’s a look at some of their offerings:

Kids: Costumes start at $10 and include: Lego’s Ninjago Kai, Jay or Loyd costumes ($400. Marvel’s Captain America basic boys costume ($10), Star Wars Rey costume ($30), Marvel’s Spiderman deluxe costume ($20), Star Wars BB-8 toddler boy costume ($30), and more.

They also have Only @ Target costumes that include a pizza, doughnut, toddler pumpkin and more.

Adults: Star Wars Rey women’s costume ($40), Star Wars Kylo Ren deluxe costume ($40), Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War Iron man costume ($44.99), Star Wars Storm Trooper women’s deluxe costume ($40) and more.

Accessories: Captain America’s shield ($15), Lego Ninjago masks ($7), Star Wars Storm Trooper Vacuform mask ($5), assorted women’s wigs ($25 and up), Star Wars Kylo Ren light saber ($15), plus many more.

Walmart: Their sale is going on in stores and online now through Saturday, October 15, with discounts on kids and adult costumes.

They have a wide selection of popular kids costumes, making them your best-bet for costumes that may be sold out in other places.

Party City: Their sale is going on in stores and online now through Sunday, October 9,  with deals on costumes, accessories and more.

They tend to have the biggest selection, but are often a bit higher priced, so compare prices before buying.

Kids: girls Shopkins Strawberry Kiss, Apple Blossom or Cupcake Queen costume ($29.99), Star Wars boys Finn costume ($29.99), Lego Ninjago Lloyd, Kai or Jay costume ($44.99), Harley Quinn girls costume ($29.99), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 costumes ($36.99), and more.

Adults: Suicide Squad men’s Joker costume ($49.99), Batman Dawn of Justice muscle costume ($49.99), Supergirl women’s costume ($31.99), Women’s Harley Quinn, Star Wars’ Rey, Marvel’s Black Widow or Wonder Woman ($49) and more.

Accessories: women’s wigs ($19.99 and up), women’s pitchforks ($3.99 and up), horror movie masks, such as Michael Meyers mask from Halloween II ($19.99), police hats ($6.99 and up) and many more.
