At the New York International Auto Show, Honda unveiled the first official photos of its all-new HR-V.
The HR-V, a compact SUV positioned below the CR-V in both size and price, features sleek styling and sharp character lines.
To provide a spacious interior and versatility, the HR-V will be built on the Honda Fit platform. It will be built along side the all-new 2015 Fit at Honda’s newest North American manufacturing facility in Celaya, Mexico.
The HR-V is expected to be equipped with Honda’s Magic Seat system, which allows for multiple seating configurations, including being able to fold the second row completely flat.
Further details about the HR-V will be announced later this year. Honda is planning for it to arrive in dealerships this winter.
Honda believes there is a significant growth opportunity in the US in the subcompact and compact car segments. Do you agree? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
