Although most hotels have been sold-out since the rumors started about the U2 concert in Moncton back in January; people are still hoping to find some last minute accommodations. Calling hotel after hotel, then trying traditional campgrounds, finds that just about everything is booked.
However, a search on websites such as Kijiji, a free local classifieds site, as of this morning, finds some accommodations are still listed as available.
Concert Camping also has camping spots available. As reported by the Times Transcript, the spokesperson for the campground Marylin LeBlanc said: “We have the best and biggest campground. We still have enough space for a couple-thousand more spots.”
Concert Camping has features such as Deluxe French Fries, a well for water, security, portapotties, and other vendors. There will also be a party on Thursday and Friday night featuring a Kiss cover band staring Moncton musician Steven LeBlanc, and many other local acts.
The owners of Concert Camping are not new to this business, they have been operating this campground, only when there are concerts, for the past four or five years and have been expanding each year.
