Next week the CBS hit comedy How I Met Your Mother says its final goodbyes after nine seasons. Before the final goodbyes are said, a party was held tonight.
Throughout this final season, every episode has focused on a certain amount of time during the weekend of Barney and Robin’s wedding. Tonight the final countdown was on.
Tonight’s episode saw Robin suffering through wedding jitters and last minute fears that she was not marrying the right man. At one point she was convinced she should marry Ted.
She even ran away from the church and through the reception tent. Halfway through the tent she ran flat into Ted’s future wife, the mother the series is based on.
A short pep talk and three deep breaths later, Robin was ready to walk down the aisle into Barney’s arms. The duo finally exchanged their long awaited vows and left the church as man and wife.
After the wedding all How I Met Your Mother fans have waited for, it is time to say goodbye. The hour long series finale is next Monday night starting at 8/7c.
