HP Sale – Xbox 360’s Free With Computers, Computers Up To $399 Off

HP is offering a 2011 Back To School sale with discounts up to $399 on custom designed computers.

According to their site, there is an instant $200 rebate on the HP Pavilion HPE h8qe series (customizable models), plus consumers receive a free 1.5 TB hard drive upgrade ($50 value), a free 9GB memory upgrade($30 value), a 15 month subscription to Norton Internet Security ($49 value), and can receive a 35% discount on 21.5 ” widescreen monitors($70 value). HP has a variety of instant rebates available, depending on the computer being purchased.

There are two deals related to the Xbox 360. First of all, the Xbox 360 4GB slim console is on sale by itself for $199.

But another deal offers the Xbox 360 for free with the purchase of select computers running on Windows 7 and priced at or over $690. This deal is available to high school or college/university students only, proof of being a student is required. This deal expires on September 3rd.

It does not appear that students can combine the instant rebates with the free Xbox 360 offer.
