Huawei MediaPad – A Powerful Tablet & The First With Android 3.2

Huawei introduced the first Android 3.2 tablet in CommunicAsia in Singapore. It is also one of the most powerful 7-inch tablets around. Huawei MediaPad, the 7-inch tablet is now the most talked about Android tablet of this time mainly because of its early arrival. When most of the tablets are now available with Android 3.0 and some are only rolling out updates to 3.1, this release is bound to be under the spotlight and here it is!

Honeycomb 3.2 is not much different from 3.1 according to Huawei. It is almost same as the 3.1 update where the only difference is the optimization for smaller displays. Android 3.2 is mainly to use with smaller displays similar to the Huawei MediaPad.

Huawei MediaPad comes with familiar specs found in most all Honeycomb tablets. It has a 1.3 megapixel front camera and 5 megapixels back camera, full HD playback, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity and 8GB of internal storage which can be extended with microSD cards. The latest version of Flash player is also installed in addition to the preloaded Facebook, Twitter and Documents To Go apps. It also has an HDMI output in case the users want to enjoy the 1080p video capability on a bigger display.

There are some odd things about this tablet too. There will be no Wi-Fi version of this tablet. So customers are not going to get any MediaPad without any data cost burden. There is also no word on pricing or release date till now.
