The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will premiere in London on November 11, 2013.
The highly anticipated sequel to The Hunger Games will then be released in US theaters November 22nd, 11 days after the film’s London premiere.
London seems to be a popular spot for films these days. Both World War Z and Iron Man 3 received London premieres this year. Not to mention last year when The Avengers premiered in the UK.
It is hard to say what pull the UK has to get these blockbusters, but it certainly helps in the long run. Each of these films went off to make massive profits. No doubt Lionsgate looking to do the same with their anticipated sequel.
Thanks to the fan base and the success of The Hunger Games, Catching Fire is guaranteed to make an impact in the box office.
